This is my first time broadcasting a show on 104.9 WJRH FM in almost a year since the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic started to shut down everything, including Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania where 104.9 FM is located.

This archival episode of The Friday Night FUNKtion Show archives "The Fist of Fury" Retail Radio show that I conducted at my JOB in the 90's - running HMV 34th street and Herald Square's in-store events. This show was recorded with Company Flow as my in-store guests (there was mic problems) as wesll as Capone-n-Noreaga aka C.N.N. and the CRU. Recorded in June of 1997, this was my monthly Hip-Hop event held on the last Friday of each month and DJ Emskee from Newark, N.J. was not only just my co-worker but he was also the resident DJ for the Fist of Fury. Emskee couldn't be in the store that Friday so DJ Sinister IZ from my crew called Lower Deck Entertainment came through to hold down the 1's and 2's this session.

This tape was made on 11-18-89 for "Saloon de Belleza Johnny" when I was on the "Electro Lazzer" sound system owned by Mr. Stennett (a friend of my Tio Enrique) and features #NewJackSwing #HipHop and #Reggae from that time period that was HOT in Panama (especially in the Canal Zone) and in Jamaica.

I've been gigging the past few weeks with 610 Underground in PA. or with NDs House Party in NYC so I've not been in-studio to produce The Friday Night FUNKtion Show in a hot sec but TONIGHT, I'm proud to say...I'm back baby!!
